For listeners choosing a speaker around both musical ambitions and available space, the S2 offers a practical starting point for a carefully matched high-end system.

Magico S Series Engineering in a Compact Form

An extruded-aluminum enclosure with an integral full-length brace limits cabinet vibration. Magico used laser-vibration measurements and acoustic scanning to refine the design. The aim is straightforward: let the drivers reproduce the recording with less interference from the cabinet around them.

Diamond-Coated Beryllium and Gen 8 Nano-Tec Drivers

A 28mm diamond-coated beryllium tweeter handles high frequencies. The dedicated 5-inch midrange and twin 7-inch woofers use Gen 8 Nano-Tec cones, combining aluminum-honeycomb cores with graphene-reinforced carbon-fiber skins. This construction balances low mass with stiffness, helping the cones resist deformation during playback.

Third-generation driver chassis improve airflow and mechanical control. Separating midrange duties from the bass drivers allows the S2 to reproduce vocals and instruments through a dedicated driver while the two woofers handle low frequencies.

Coherent Driver Integration

Magico’s Elliptical Symmetry Crossover integrates the four drivers using premium Mundorf components. Its purpose is consistent tonal balance and a smooth transition between bass, midrange and treble.

Softec and Gloss Finishes

Choose Softec at $37,400 per pair or Gloss at $43,000 per pair.
