StormAudio Elite immersive home theater processor
Elite processor shown · System design, integration & calibration

Choose the foundation for your theater.

From an integrated receiver to a modular processor or a fully digital system, the right starting point depends on your speaker layout, amplification, and room. These are product families to discuss with our team, with configuration and availability confirmed for your project.

Core

Compact processor · Analog outputs

Core

A 3U processor with 16 balanced analog XLR outputs for a theater using separate power amplifiers. Core brings immersive processing and the StormAudio calibration platform into a compact chassis.

A practical starting point for an analog separates system. We’ll map speakers and subwoofers to the available outputs.

Elite

Modular processor · Room to expand

Elite

The flagship modular platform supports configurations from 16 to 32 channels, with analog XLR, AES/EBU, and audio-over-IP options. It is suited to larger layouts and projects that need more routing flexibility.

Processing channels are not powered speaker channels. Output hardware, licenses, and separate amplification are specified together.

Evo & Evo One

Fully digital processors

Evo & Evo One

Evo offers up to 32 digital channels. Compact 1U Evo One is available in 8, 12, or 16-channel licensed configurations. Both provide paths to compatible digital amplification or active speaker systems.

Digital outputs require compatible AES/EBU or AoIP equipment, or suitable conversion. We’ll confirm interfaces, networking, channel licenses, and source switching. Evo shown.

Fusion 20

Receiver · Processing + amplification

Fusion 20

Fusion 20 combines 20-channel processing with 16 channels of built-in amplification and four analog XLR outputs. It offers a more consolidated starting point for an immersive theater.

The 20 processed channels are not 20 built-in amplifier channels. We’ll plan the output assignments and any external amplification your layout needs.

PA 16

16-channel power amplifier

PA 16

A multichannel Class D power amplifier with 16 balanced XLR inputs for an analog-output processor. PA 16 can supply amplification across a theater’s main, surround, and height speakers.

Speaker load, listening distance, headroom, and any bridged channels guide the design. Bridging reduces the number of independent powered channels.

Impulsion 8

8-channel power amplifier · Analog & AoIP

Impulsion 8

A compact 2U amplifier with eight XLR inputs, AES67/Dante-compatible digital inputs, and DSP for AoIP speaker control. It can support conventional analog or networked audio system designs.

We’ll confirm the input path and speaker requirements. Bridged operation uses pairs of channels, providing up to four independent outputs.

The room is part of the system

A great soundtrack.
A considered setup.

Room calibration works best as part of a complete plan. We help coordinate the speakers, subwoofers, amplification, room layout, and control system, then define the setup and calibration your installation needs.

Dirac Live Room Correction

Measure the room and adjust the system response around the listening area. Speaker placement, room treatment, and careful measurement remain part of the plan.

Dirac Live Bass Control

Coordinate subwoofers and their integration with the speakers. Subwoofer quantity and placement should be planned before calibration begins.

Active Room Treatment

Dirac Live ART uses compatible speakers together to help manage low-frequency room decay. We’ll assess speaker capability, placement, and support groups for your room.

A system that works together

Match channel count and output interfaces to your speakers and amps. Include HDMI sources, display, control, rack ventilation, and network design in the same conversation.

Before you choose.

Should I choose a processor or Fusion 20?

Core, Elite, Evo, and Evo One are processors that need suitable external amplification or active speakers. Fusion 20 includes 16 amplifier channels alongside 20-channel processing and four analog XLR outputs. The right choice depends on your speaker layout, power needs, rack space, and plans for the system.

What does a fully digital system require?

Evo and Evo One use digital audio outputs rather than conventional analog pre-outs. The receiving amplifiers, active speakers, or converters must support the selected interface. We’ll check AES/EBU or AoIP compatibility, channel licensing, network design, and source connections before specifying a system.

How many channels do I need?

Start with the full speaker and subwoofer layout. Independent subwoofer feeds, active speaker crossovers, and future additions can use outputs beyond the familiar surround-and-height notation. We’ll distinguish processing capacity, physical outputs, licensed channels, and powered channels in your proposal.

What is the difference between Dirac correction, Bass Control, and ART?

Room Correction adjusts the measured system response; Bass Control coordinates subwoofers and their integration with speakers; Active Room Treatment uses suitable speakers together to help control low-frequency room decay. They address related but different parts of calibration. We’ll confirm the chosen model’s software, licenses, firmware, and the setup your room needs.

Can I keep my existing speakers and amplifiers?

Often, existing equipment can be part of the plan. Send us the model names and your current layout. We’ll check speaker loads, amplifier capability, signal connections, subwoofer integration, and practical installation requirements before recommending what to retain or change.
