Engineering with a purpose
A loudspeaker cabinet can add its own vibration to the sound. Magico’s approach combines stiffness, mass and damping to limit that contribution, using aluminum in the A and S Series and carbon-fiber construction in the M Series.
The enclosure, drivers and crossover work as one acoustic system. Materials are selected to balance rigidity, moving mass and resonance control, while the crossover divides the music between drivers designed for different frequency ranges.
Those engineering choices are a starting point for a complete system. Amplifier capability, room acoustics and speaker placement still shape what you hear at home. Audio Exchange can help you consider those factors together.
