Changes and cancellation. A short, limited cancellation window applies after order placement. Contact Audio Exchange promptly to request a change or cancellation. The exact deadline, eligibility and any applicable costs must be confirmed with our team before ordering; a request does not guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled.
Dealer installation requirements. Magico dealer requirements mean we supply these speakers with installation by Audio Exchange, rather than shipping them for customer installation. Service availability depends on your location and the scope of the installation. Travel distance, the model selected and installation needs affect feasibility and cost. We confirm whether we can serve your address and provide the applicable delivery, travel and installation charges before accepting your order.
The design
The ASUB adds low-frequency support to a stereo or home-theater system, with a front-firing 10-inch aluminum woofer and internal 500-watt amplification. It can be considered alongside Magico A Series speakers or other systems, with room size, listening level and the main speakers’ bass capability guiding the choice.
The sealed enclosure uses ⅜-inch 6061-T6 aluminum, internal bracing and damping. Magico evaluates the structure through finite-element simulation and physical testing to control unwanted vibration. The driver combines an aluminum cone with a 55mm titanium voice coil.
A digitally controlled active crossover and DSP provide adjustment for integration with the main speakers. Three memory presets store individual settings; RCA and XLR inputs support connection planning with your equipment.
Placement and calibration matter as much as the specification sheet. Audio Exchange can help consider listening seats, available positions and the rest of your system, then coordinate installation and adjustment. Black and Silver are priced per subwoofer; production timing and service availability are confirmed before ordering.
The cabinet uses ⅜-inch-thick 6061-T6 aluminum, internal bracing and damping, drawing on principles developed for Magico’s QSUB platform. Magico evaluates the structure using finite-element simulation and physical testing to control unwanted cabinet vibration.
The front-firing woofer uses a stiff aluminum cone and a 55mm titanium voice coil. Magico refines its acoustic, mechanical, electromagnetic and thermal behavior through simulation, with attention to low-frequency distortion and driver control.
An internal 500-watt amplifier powers the driver, so the ASUB does not require a separate subwoofer power amplifier. A digitally controlled active crossover and DSP provide adjustment for integration with the main speakers. Three memory presets store individual settings, while signal detection, automatic shutdown, anti-clip and thermal protection support operation.

No. Magico ASUB has built-in amplification. Your system still needs a suitable signal connection and careful integration with the main speakers. Confirm the appropriate supply-voltage configuration with our team.
Placement, output level, crossover and available DSP controls are considered together with your main speakers and listening seats. Audio Exchange can help plan the connection and calibration as part of installation.
