An extruded-aluminum enclosure with an integral full-length brace limits cabinet vibration. Magico used laser-vibration measurements and acoustic scanning to refine the design. The aim is straightforward: let the drivers reproduce the recording with less interference from the cabinet around them.
A 28mm diamond-coated beryllium tweeter handles high frequencies. The dedicated 5-inch midrange and twin 7-inch woofers use Gen 8 Nano-Tec cones, combining aluminum-honeycomb cores with graphene-reinforced carbon-fiber skins. This construction balances low mass with stiffness, helping the cones resist deformation during playback.
Magico’s Elliptical Symmetry Crossover integrates the four drivers using premium Mundorf components. Its purpose is consistent tonal balance and a smooth transition between bass, midrange and treble.
