Magico M7 Floorstanding Loudspeakers

The Magico M7 floorstanding loudspeakers are a four-way, six-driver design with a carbon-fiber-and-aluminum enclosure and Gen 8 Nano-Tec cone drivers. Conceived as an all-passive counterpart to the semi-active M9, the M7 separates midrange, midbass and deep-bass duties while keeping the crossover system inside the speakers.

Carbon-Fiber Enclosure and MPOD Support

The monocoque carbon-fiber shell joins machined aluminum baffles using front-to-back tension rods. Constrained-layer damping helps control cabinet vibration, while curved surfaces reduce diffraction. A bespoke support system using MPOD technology provides a stable foundation.

Diamond-Coated Beryllium and Gen 8 Nano-Tec Drivers

The 28mm diamond-coated beryllium tweeter shares its design with the M9. A dedicated 5-inch midrange, two 9-inch midbass drivers and two 12-inch woofers use aluminum-honeycomb cores between graphene-infused carbon-fiber skins. This construction balances stiffness, low mass and damping.

The separate midbass section handles the transition between voices and instruments and the lowest octaves. This four-way arrangement allows each driver group to work within a more focused operating range.

Fully Passive Four-Way Crossover

Magico’s Elliptical Symmetry Crossover uses components from Mundorf and Duelund to integrate all six drivers. Unlike the M9, the M7 does not require an external MXO crossover or active bi-amplification. An appropriately matched external power amplifier drives the internal passive network.
