Compatibility
The ATN91 is specified by Audio-Technica as a replacement stylus for the AT91 and AT3600. It is also compatible with the discontinued CN5625AL and AT90. When installed on an AT3600L cartridge, Audio-Technica specifies a 2.0 g tracking force; this upgrade should only be used if the turntable's tonearm allows the tracking force to be adjusted accordingly.

When Should You Replace Your Stylus?
A worn or damaged turntable stylus can cause mistracking, distortion, excess surface noise, and unnecessary record wear. If your AT91 or compatible cartridge is otherwise in good condition, replacing the stylus with the ATN91 restores the cartridge without requiring a complete cartridge replacement.
