It features 7 digital inputs, including 2 coaxial, 2 optical, 1 USB, 1 MCT, and a new audio-only HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) connection. This allows you to connect a compatible TV to the C2700 and enjoy your TV's sound through your home audio system.

For analog music, the C2700 offers 9 inputs, including 3 balanced connections, 4 unbalanced connections, and 1 each of Moving Coil and Moving Magnet phono inputs. With a total of 16 inputs, the C2700 can connect to virtually any music source.

The C2700's design separates the analog and digital sections to prevent signal corruption. It includes bass and treble tone controls, a High Drive Headphone Amplifier with Headphone Crossfeed Director (HXD®), and Home Theater Pass Through for seamless integration into your home theater system.

The C2700 is Roon Tested and packed inside the timeless McIntosh design, featuring a black glass front panel, blue meters, rotary knobs, an illuminated logo, aluminum end caps, and a polished stainless steel chassis. The 6 vacuum tubes are visible through a glass panel on the top of the preamplifier.
