The Rega Aya is a compact, UK-built floorstander that breaks the mold. Literally. Its sculpted cabinet is cast from glass-reinforced cement (GRC), a material chosen to reduce resonance and increase rigidity. Combined with a 2.5-way band-pass design and Rega’s handmade drivers, the Aya delivers tight, tuneful bass, an expressive midrange, and clean, detailed highs that stay musical at every volume.
Aya’s specialty is timing and texture. Drums start and stop on a dime, bass lines are articulate rather than boomy, and vocals sit naturally in the mix. If you value musical flow as much as raw scale, these speakers shine with everything from acoustic jazz to modern electronica.
With a 6 Ω nominal load and 89.5 dB sensitivity, the Aya partners beautifully with quality integrated amplifiers, including compact Class AB designs and higher-current separates.
