The Sonus Faber Serafino G2 is the second generation of the Homage Collection floorstanding loudspeaker inspired by Santo Serafino, the celebrated eighteenth-century Venetian luthier. Handcrafted in Vicenza, Italy, it combines the proportions and curves of a fine stringed instrument with upgraded drivers, a refined phase-coherent crossover, and the Intono internal cabinet system.
Serafino G2 delivers a spacious, natural presentation from a cabinet that is more compact than the larger Amati G5 and Stradivari G2. Nine carefully matched layers of natural wood and nine lacquer coats form its lute-shaped enclosure, complemented by Italian leather and aluminum details.
Intono Midrange Enclosure
The 150 mm neodymium midrange operates in a sealed Intono chamber. This internal structure reduces acoustic pressure and unwanted resonances within a critical frequency range, allowing voices and instruments to emerge with greater clarity, tonal purity, and control.
Upgraded Drivers and Extended Bass
A 28 mm DAD Arrow Point tweeter provides extended high-frequency response, while the redesigned midrange motor system delivers fast, precise control. Two 180 mm woofers use revised voice coils and spider materials to move more air and extend bass response. The Stealth Ultraflex vented enclosure manages airflow while preserving the clean appearance and structural integrity of the cabinet.
Phase-Coherent Crossover
Sonus Faber’s Phase Coherent Level 3 crossover is hand assembled with high-quality capacitors, Jantzen inductors, and custom components. Its 200, 250, and 2,400 Hz crossover points are designed to maintain consistent timing, stable imaging, and a cohesive three-dimensional soundstage throughout the listening room.

With 90 dB sensitivity, a 4-ohm nominal impedance, and a recommended amplifier range of 50 to 300 watts per channel, Serafino G2 pairs well with high-current integrated amplifiers and separate power amplifiers.
