The original soundtrack of the controversial anime Akiba Maid War, broadcasted in the winter of 2022 and produced by Cygames and P.A.WORKS, is now available on classic black vinyl. This Japan import captures the intense and unique atmosphere of the anime, blending "moe" (cute) elements with the raw, gritty feel of a yakuza film.
Akiba Maid War transports viewers to 1999 Akihabara, where the Tontokoton staff navigate a perilous world filled with firearms, blades, and high stakes. The production masterfully merges the contrasting themes of cuteness and violence, creating a captivating viewing experience.
The soundtrack has been carefully curated by the production team, incorporating original songs from the series as well as tracks from the CD collection included with the visual software. This vinyl release authentically reflects the vibrant and eclectic world of 1999, where CDs and records coexisted harmoniously.
