Angel’s Egg Music Collection: Living in Water is Yoshihiro Kanno’s haunting original score for Mamoru Oshii’s 1985 animated masterpiece Angel’s Egg. Written and directed by Oshii with art direction by Yoshitaka Amano, the film’s dreamlike imagery is matched by a deeply atmospheric soundtrack of orchestral, ambient, and experimental compositions.
This remastered vinyl edition restores Amano’s original jacket artwork and presents the complete 14-track score on Clear Sky Blue vinyl. It also includes a fold-out color booklet with reprinted commentary from Mamoru Oshii and Takuya Katagiri, plus new Japanese and English liner notes from Yoshihiro Kanno and Hidenori Maejima.
