Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Nippon Animation with Anne of Green Gables Music Collection ~Seasons in Avonlea~, a commemorative Japanese vinyl release devoted to the beloved 1979 television series. This carefully curated collection brings together opening and ending themes, vocal songs, and evocative background music that capture Anne Shirley’s imagination, growth, and life among the changing seasons of Avonlea.
Newly remastered from the original broadcast master tapes, the soundtrack showcases music by Akira Miyoshi and Kurodo Mori alongside songs performed by Ritsuko Owada. The set also includes the instrumental version of “Open the Door to the Forest,” presented on vinyl for the first time.
