Record details
Release information, pressing details, and practical ordering information.
From the world’s coldest capital, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, lo-fi beatmaker Bodikhuu channels the tropical spirit of Brazil in his acclaimed album Rio / BodiaNova. The release drifts through nostalgic saudade and sun-drenched jazz-funk moods, blending smoky beats with bossa and samba textures. Originally a digital underground favorite, this first LP reissue arrives on splatter vinyl with OBI strip and cover art by illustrator David Barnett (noted for his work with Curren$y and Erykah Badu). Highlights include the streaming hit “De Janeiro,” the wistful “Berimbau,” and the airy “Rio Beach.”
