Danzig II: Lucifuge

Danzig II: Lucifuge on Translucent Ruby Vinyl

Danzig’s second studio album, Danzig II: Lucifuge, deepened the band’s signature blend of heavy metal, blues-soaked hard rock, gothic atmosphere, and Glenn Danzig’s commanding baritone. Originally released in 1990 and produced by Rick Rubin, the album features the classic lineup of Glenn Danzig, John Christ, Eerie Von, and Chuck Biscuits.

This collectible edition presents the complete album on translucent ruby vinyl. The rich red pressing complements the record’s dramatic portrait artwork and makes a striking addition to any Danzig, classic-metal, or colored-vinyl collection.

About Danzig II: Lucifuge

Building on the stripped-down power of the band’s debut, Lucifuge places an even greater emphasis on blues influence, swaggering rhythms, and dark theatricality. From the driving opener “Long Way Back From Hell” to the brooding “Blood and Tears” and the acoustic-blues attack of “I’m the One,” the album remains one of the defining releases of Danzig’s original era.
