Immerse yourself in the dark and thrilling world of Death Note with the Original Soundtrack (Volume 2) on brown marbled double vinyl, exclusively released by Microids Records. This beautifully crafted vinyl set comes with inserts and features the haunting compositions of Hideki Taniuchi and Yoshihisa Hirano.
Light Yagami, a gifted young student, one day picks up the “Death Note,” a notebook previously kept by a shinigami (God of Death), Ryuk, who was bored in his world. Just write the name of a person in this notebook, and they die under certain conditions that Ryuk explains to Light. With the “Death Note” in hand, Light decides to rid the planet of all criminals to make it a just world, a perfect world. However, who is he to judge people? He therefore becomes the most wanted criminal on the whole planet.
Composers Hideki Taniuchi, known for Hajime no Ippo and NANA, and Yoshihisa Hirano, known for Final Fantasy and Hunter x Hunter, bring their exceptional talents to this soundtrack, creating a powerful and atmospheric musical journey that perfectly complements the intense narrative of Death Note.
