Step into a world of soothing melodies with "Lo-Fi Ghibli" by Grey October Sound, a unique compilation that marries the enchanting music of Studio Ghibli with the laid-back vibes of lo-fi hip-hop. Following the footsteps of "Ghibli Jazz" and "Ghibli Reggae," this LP introduces a new dimension to Ghibli's beloved soundtracks, transforming them into the ultimate chill-out experience.
"Lo-Fi Ghibli" features ten tracks that reinterpret iconic Ghibli songs such as "Carrying You" from "Castle in the Sky" and "A Town with an Ocean View" from "Kiki's Delivery Service," through the lens of lo-fi hip-hop. Grey October Sounds blends these timeless melodies with hip-hop beats, adding a new layer of relaxation and nostalgia to Joe Hisaishi’s compositions.
Relax and unwind with the following lo-fi hip-hop covers:
| Side A | 1. Wrapped in Gentleness (Kiki's Delivery Service) 2. The Bygone Days (Porco Rosso) 3. One Summer's Day (Spirited Away) 4. A Town With an Ocean View (Kiki's Delivery Service) 5. The Path of Wind (My Neighbor Totoro) |
|---|---|
| Side B | 1. Nausicaä Requiem (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind) 2. The Princess Mononoke (Princess Mononoke) 3. The Legend of Ashitaka (Princess Mononoke) 4. The Sixth Station (Spirited Away) 5. Carrying You (Castle in the Sky) |
