Description
A cult cornerstone of early-2000s electronica and shoegaze, Sunkissed marks the debut of Guitar, the solo project of German producer Michael Luckner. Originally released on Morr Music in 2002, the album fuses shimmering guitars, looping feedback textures, and crisp electro rhythms into a lush, cinematic soundscape. Featuring ethereal vocals by Ayako Akashiba, Sunkissed captures the hypnotic beauty of My Bloody Valentine’s dream-pop ideals filtered through Cologne’s electronic minimalism. Newly remastered and available on vinyl for the first time, this reissue celebrates a pivotal release in the evolution of electro-shoegaze.
