Mort Garson’s Mother Earth’s Plantasia returns for its 50th anniversary in a newly remastered, eco-conscious vinyl edition. Originally released in 1976 as “warm earth music for plants…and the people that love them,” this cult classic pairs playful Moog melodies with lush, gently surreal electronic arrangements.

Once available mainly through a Los Angeles plant shop and with select mattress purchases, Plantasia has grown into one of the most beloved early electronic albums of its era. This 2026 Sacred Bones edition celebrates that unusual history while presenting Garson’s music in a thoughtfully restored package.
