Miss.G – Pure Vinyl LP

Miss.G is the celebrated 1996 debut album from Japanese singer-songwriter Naoko Gushima (具島直子), reissued on vinyl for its 30th anniversary. A standout of sophisticated Japanese urban pop, its soft, intimate vocals, polished grooves, and understated jazz- and soul-inflected arrangements have made it a sought-after discovery among city pop listeners.

Highlights include the silky, groove-led “Candy,” the supple and funky “Monochrome,” and the breezy bossa nova textures of “Taifuu no Yoru.” This 2026 Pure Vinyl Japanese pressing is an appealing way to experience the album in its original ten-track sequence.
