Originally released in 1981, SORRY is the second album from Japanese vocalist Mai Yamane, combining sophisticated city pop, soulful vocals, soft rock and Japanese AOR. Its eight songs feature arrangements by Shigeru Suzuki and Makoto Matsushita, two major figures in the era's distinctive studio sound.
Teichiku Entertainment brings SORRY back for the City Pop on Vinyl 2026 series, marking the album's first issue on clear blue colored vinyl. Highlights include the sleek groove of “Out of the Night” and the mellow “In Love.” This collectible Japanese import includes an obi strip and a printed foldout insert.
