Tatsuro Yamashita’s Spacy (1977) is a cornerstone of Japanese pop, a sophisticated blend of AOR, funk, and breezy West Coast soul. Following his debut Circus Town, the album refines his melodic craftsmanship with lush arrangements and unmistakable production polish. Highlights include “Love Space,” “Solid Slider,” and “Dancer.” This 180 g audiophile edition from Warner Music Japan offers pristine sound and faithfully reproduces the original artwork with OBI and lyric insert.
