YOASOBI - THE BOOK II (Vinyl)

YOASOBI’s THE BOOK II is the duo’s second EP, originally released on December 1, 2021 through Sony Music Entertainment Japan. Building on the success of their debut, the release compiles a series of hit singles from 2021, continuing their signature “novel into music” concept—transforming literary works into emotionally rich pop songs. 

The EP includes some of YOASOBI’s biggest songs, such as “怪物 (Monster)” and “優しい彗星 (Comet)”—both featured in the anime BEASTARS—as well as “三原色 (RGB)” and “ラブレター (Love Letter)”. These tracks helped the duo dominate Japanese charts, with THE BOOK II reaching No. 1 on Billboard Japan Hot Albums and earning Gold certification. 

This vinyl edition, released in 2024 as part of YOASOBI’s 5th anniversary campaign, marks the first time the EP has been pressed on LP. The release is typically issued on limited colored vinyl (notably green variants) and features newly illustrated artwork created specifically for the analog series.

With its tight sequencing and strong lineup of singles, THE BOOK II plays as a cohesive snapshot of YOASOBI’s breakout era—blending polished J-pop, electronic production, and storytelling into one of the duo’s most commercially impactful releases.
