Video Game LoFi: UNDERTALE Vol 02 is a cozy 10-track tribute to Toby Fox's acclaimed game soundtrack, led by Save Point with LoFi VGM and a group of longtime collaborators. Familiar themes including “Megalovania,” “Ghost Fight!,” “Another Medium,” and “CORE” are reimagined through warm analog synths, jazzy piano, laid-back guitar, and tape-saturated drums.
The arrangements blend lo-fi chillhop, jazz hop, and nostalgic chiptune while preserving the emotional character of the original music. Details such as Game Boy-programmed chiptune parts on “Spooktune” and Ben Briggs' colorful synth work on “CORE” give each collaboration its own distinct personality.
