Transit is the 1981 debut album from Yasuha, released two months after her debut single “Friday Chinatown.” A defining city pop album, it pairs Yasuha’s own compositions with lyrics by Toyohisa Araki and Junko Yamao, plus arrangements by Akira Inoue, Megumi Wakakusa, and Tatsumi Yano / Yasuha.
This Japan import LP is pressed on yellow vinyl and includes Yasuha’s signature song “Friday Chinatown,” the urban disco cut “Bye-Bye Lover,” and the standout ballad “Remember Summertime.” The sessions feature musicians including Tatsuo Hayashi, Nobu Saito, Tsuyoshi Kon, Masaki Matsubara, and Fujimaru Yoshino.
