Yuji Ohno & Galaxy’s legendary Captain Future Original Soundtrack returns to vinyl, reviving the adventurous sound of the classic space-opera anime. The composer behind the celebrated music of Lupin the Third blends jazz-funk, rare groove, fusion, and vintage synthesizers into a vivid cosmic score driven by slap bass, Rhodes piano, brass, and tightly interlocked rhythms.
Originally released in 1979, this official Japanese reissue presents the complete 16-track program on a single black vinyl LP. Highlights include the hard-driving “Andromeda no Kanata,” the mellow electric-piano textures of “Oyasumi Future Men,” and the guitar-and-brass interplay of “Ijigen no Eden.”
