No. Match the exact cartridge family and model. Do not choose by color alone or assume that OM, Concorde Music, and 2M parts are interchangeable.
Can I upgrade Bronze with a Black or LVB 250 stylus?
Ortofon supports the Black and Black LVB 250 styli as upgrades within the Bronze / Black cartridge family, including the corresponding 2MR and premounted versions. Confirm the exact assembly and reset tracking force for the new stylus.
Does the LVB 250 use the same tracking force as Black?
No. The Black LVB 250 is specified at 1.6 g, while standard Bronze and Black are specified at 1.5 g. Verify the setting with the correct model instructions after fitting or changing a stylus.
Can you match it from my turntable model?
