The Klipsch Forte IV brings decades of acoustic refinement into your living space with a powerful blend of dynamic range, lifelike detail, and unmistakable style. Originally introduced in 1985 and now reimagined with modern engineering, this compact floorstanding speaker continues to be one of the most beloved members of the Heritage Series.

At its core, the Forte IV is a 3-way loudspeaker featuring a 12” woofer, a 1.75” midrange compression driver (K-702), and a 1” titanium diaphragm tweeter (K-100-TI) mounted on a K-79T horn. It delivers 99dB sensitivity and clean, dynamic sound up to 116dB SPL. The Tractrix® midrange horn includes Klipsch's patented Mumps technology, providing even mid-frequency dispersion across a wide soundstage.

One of its standout features is the rear-mounted 15” passive radiator (KD-15), which enhances low-end extension and authority without requiring additional amplification or subwoofers. This design gives the Forte IV exceptional bass response down to 38Hz, perfect for both music lovers and movie enthusiasts.

Handcrafted in Hope, Arkansas, the Forte IV features real wood veneers with book-matched grain and sequential serial numbers for every matched pair. Premium bi-wire/bi-amp binding posts and a redesigned crossover network, inspired by the Klipschorn and La Scala, ensure accurate signal transfer and optimal fidelity.

Available in American Walnut, Natural Cherry, Black Ash, or Distressed Oak finishes with complementary grille cloths, the Forte IV isn’t just a speaker—it’s an heirloom built to impress for generations.
