The Klipschorn AK7 represents the pinnacle of the world's most iconic horn-loaded loudspeaker. Continuing Paul W. Klipsch’s vision for delivering live-concert realism at home, this seventh-generation Klipschorn builds upon over 75 years of refinement with newly engineered acoustic components, modern crossover compatibility, and unmatched efficiency.

Still proudly hand-assembled in Hope, Arkansas, the Klipschorn AK7 features a three-way, fully horn-loaded system with every driver precisely coupled to a horn optimized for its specific passband. With 103dB sensitivity and 120dB maximum SPL, the AK7 delivers powerful, distortion-free sound even with low-wattage tube amplifiers.

The AK7 debuts an upgraded K-1133-HP 3” midrange compression driver mounted to the patented K-406 Tractrix® horn featuring Mumps technology—providing better coverage, precision, and tonal consistency. High frequencies are rendered through the K-771 tweeter with an extended phase plug on a K-792 horn, offering clean dispersion and a broader sweet spot.

The 15" K-33-E woofer resides in a fully horn-loaded, enclosed cabinet delivering dynamic bass response down to 34Hz, making the AK7 as flexible in placement as it is commanding in performance. For the first time, the Klipschorn supports an optional Heritage Active DSP Crossover—enabling time and phase alignment, EQ balancing, and professional-grade performance derived from the flagship Klipsch Jubilee.

A redesigned rear-mounted I/O panel allows seamless switching between passive and active setups. Finished in luxurious American Auburn, Black Ash, or American Walnut veneers with silver metallic grille cloth, the AK7 offers not just a sonic masterpiece, but a visual one as well.
